50' - 69' Sailing Yachts
Cavallino
50' Able Apogee
Year: 1998
Location: Chicago, IL USA
Price: $495,000 USD SOLD
Cavallino, designed by Chuck Paine and quality built by Able Marine, is a strong, very well-finished, performance cruising yacht. She has been sailed primarily during the summers in fresh water and is one of three pilothouse/raised salon models from the Apogee 50 mold, with pilothouse operation capability for bad weather. The pilothouse/raised salon design also improves interior light and headroom.
Cavallino's overall condition is excellent and her finish work and engineering are comparable to that produced by the finest semi-custom yards in New England and overseas. She is very well equipped, including a generator and reverse cycle air conditioning.
Scarlet Ibis
50' Bruckmann
Year: 2008
Location: Portsmouth, RI USA
Price: $1,100,000 USD
The Ellis designed Bruckmann 50 has expanded the season, geography, ability and comfort of all owners and guests who have experienced this marvelous yacht. Mark Ellis, one of the best yacht designers whose experienced based innovations have set trends, has created a stellar yacht with trawler-like interior space and fast cruiser performance under sail.
The Bruckmann 50 combines seemingly incompatible characteristics, those always at the bequest of the experienced boater: great performance and the feel of a proper sailboat with an interior pilothouse station to get out of the weather, superb engineering and execution, an interior helm station, a beautiful salon, and a dining area with views of the world.
Scarlet Ibis is at the very top of the food chain insofar as condition, sail-ability, equipment, and functionality. She was built with as open a checkbook as one could have building in 50 or so feet, all components being the best of the best.
She is not to be missed by those cruisers, both sail and power, seriously seeking a proper cruising yacht that does it all really well. With her inventory and upgrades, replacement easily exceeds US$1,400,000.

Freight Train VI
53' Hallberg-Rassy
Comment by the designer, Germán Frers:
"The Hallberg-Rassy 53 is designed with the cruising connoisseur very much in mind. She follows closely the tradition and philosophy behind my earlier Hallberg-Rassy designs. The hull shape was developed following the significant lessons learned from the intense research program carried out by our design office for the America's Cup.

Muskoka Sag
54' Hylas Raised Salon
Year: 2010
Location: Newport, RI USA
Price: $935,000 USD Tax Paid
Muskoka Sag, hull number 58, was built in 2010 and offers the best opportunity to purchase a spectacular new yacht at a greatly reduced price. Muskoka Sag is fully commissioned and has completed her shake down cruise from Fort Luaderdale to Newport. To purchase a new, semi-custom yacht today, built to the specifications and quality standards of this yacht, a two-year wait could be expected. This is the last opportunity to buy one of these world-renowned cruising boats in this condition and age. There is rarely a vessel available with this pedigree with such little use and so much potential for a new owner.
The two generous staterooms fore and aft and the over/under third cabin allow owners the versatility to cruise with another couple, short handed or with the family. The bamboo sole throughout creates a stunning contrast to the specially chosen teak bulkheads and trim that highlight the interior.
Hylas Yachts are built to the specifications of each owner and during the building of Muskoka Sag the interior was thoughtfully designed and properly executed. The details on this yacht will leave even the most discerning buyer pleased.
